These small, super tender squids from Galicia in extra virgin olive oil are a real taste experience! They are filled with your own tentacles, go very well with tomatoes, with pasta or on a starter plate and are simply one of the tastiest classics in the Spanish canned variety.

The squid family includes squid, octopus and cuttlefish. They are usually about 30 cm long and weigh up to 5 kilos. Their delicate arms are particularly popular in the kitchen, as is the black ink they use to surround themselves when threatened. It can be used to color pasta or rice. Their flesh is firm and lean and tastes good raw (e.g. as sushi), briefly cooked, seared, grilled or deep-fried.
